Easy Easter Egg Decoration Using Metallic Paint Markers
Here is how to create super easy Easter egg decoration using metallic paint markers. It is such a quick and easy way to get stunning results. This idea is also good for children and adults alike.
The secret is to use paint markers, they are easy to use like a normal marker pen but they produce metallic paint instead of ink. I used silver and gold medium point paint marker from Pentel. By the way this is not a sponsored article and I have no links with Pentel. Lots of pen companies make metallic paint pens but these are my favourite as the paint really is shiny and metallic. When you first use them you need to pump the nib to get the paint flowing. They would also get great for Christmas crafts and decorations.
Paint whatever pattern you like straight onto the eggs or if you prefer you can dye or paint the eggs first. Some of the eggs in these pictures where painted with a metallic base paint while others were dyed with natural red cabbage. If you would like to know more about using red cabbage dye check out the link to my tutorial at the bottom of this page.
You will need to paint the eggs in a couple of stages. Start with one side then allow it to dry before finishing the other side.
So there you have it, super easy egg decoration!
